Flo King High-Flow Carbon Cartridges
For larger tanks or where organic contamination is severe, Flo King offers the Carbon Bag for in-tank treatment. The bags come in three lengths (10, 15 and 20 inches; 25, 38 and 50 cm) with the capacity to hold 5, 7.5, and 10 lb (2.3, 3.5 and 4.5 kg) of pelletized carbon. Use the standard disposable bag for one-time treatment; or, for repeated use, select the Permacore reusable bag, which can be emptied, cleaned, refilled with carbon and reused many times.
Flo King offers two types of Pelletized Carbon—HIGH GRADE for non-critical applications and acid-washed HIGH TECH for most plating applications.
Sethco carbon filter tubes are designed to be used in any standard single or multi-tube filter chamber. They provide a greater filtration area for greater adsorption plus economy - all in a single double-duty cartridge. Sethco's carbon-filter tube progessively filters out solid particles, then absorbs organic impurities and finally re-filters the twice-treated liquid. Constructed of inert materials, the multi-layered tube will "purify" the most corrosive acid or alkaline solution including plating solutions to 170 degrees F.
An open mesh polypropylene protective outer sleeve gives the tube rigidity and encompasses the polypropylene fluted outer filter of over 120 square inches per 10 inch length of filter area to trap most solids. This is 40% more filtration surface than a conventional flat circular surface. This fluted design provides greater dirt holding capacity and longer life.
Organic impurities are then adsorbed by the next dense layer of Sethco activated granular carbon. Finally stray particles down to ten microns are trapped by the double wall inner poylpropylene filter providing contaminant free clean and clear solution. The entire onstruction is layered over a center rigid polypropylene mesh core. Leakproof grooved vinyl end-caps assure tight "no-liquid-bypass" fit.

Mefiag Oil Media (Spaghetti)
Hydrophobic meltdown polypropylene media having best oil absorbing characteristics along with large surface area. Mefiag's oil absorbing media is available in 1, 2, 2.5 or 5 lb. bags for easy change out.
The absorption capacity of the oil absorbing filter material is 1:8-12. (This means that 1 lb. of oil absorbing filter material can absorb 8 to 12 lbs. of grease and dirt resulting in much longer lifetime of your degreasing baths)
Mefiag Activated Granular Carbon
Activated Granular Carbon is available in 25 lbs. polypropylene bags. This product is sold in quantities of 50 lbs. thru 2,000 lbs..
