ITS MODULAR DESIGN, MINIMAL DOWNTIME, AND ITS NEAT DESIGN.
FlexKraft Switch Mode Rectifiers
FlexKraft Air-Cooled and Water-Cooled DC Switch Mode Rectifiers with Single and Dual Outputs with Optional Polarity Reversal are the best switch mode rectifiers on the market today. One of the things that makes the FlexKraft stand out from the competition is the ability to have multiple individually controlled outputs (power multiple tanks) integrated in one stack. This is both cost effective - save up to 10-15% per output - as well as space saving for your business.
Simply put, switch mode rectifiers cost less to operate, have much lower ripple, have higher efficiency, have a higher power factor, are more compact, and are more easily serviced than SCR rectifiers.
The application of these FlexKraft switch mode rectifiers are numerous and have been used for plating of gold, nickel, zinc, chrome and plastic surfaces; anodizing, pickling and much more.
The Benefits
The benefits of switching to a FlexKraft switch mode rectifier to power your plating process will show up in no time. The FlexKraft offers near 90% efficiency across the output range. Customers have done studies that showed the FlexKraft consumed 34% less energy than one of their (SCR) units when powering the exact same plating process. The FlexKraft is designed for 24/7 max load operations in harsh conditions to offer the highest possible reliability. The module design minimizes downtime as if one module should fail the rectifier will still run at a reduced power output.
Improved Output Quality
The FlexKraft Switch Mode Rectifiers have the lowest ripple in the industry with the ripple output quality built directly into the units. FlexKraft guarantees ripple below 2% across the entire regulation range (0-100% output). Typical ripple is even lower - under most load conditions ripple is below 0.2%. This high quality of the output current combined with the pinpoint accuracy in the settings promotes unparalleled results for sensitive processes like chrome plating.
Less Downtime Equals Lower Costs
The modular design allows FlexKraft to run on reduced power if a fault occurs in a module. The rectifier is operated from the front and can be serviced on-site by a local electrician, to keep downtime to a minimum. This reduces the potentially high costs of a standstill and increases your plants' availability.
Flexing Compact Muscles or The Flexibility of FlexKraft
The condensed and convenient FlexKraft units can be placed side by side or built on top of each other, facilitating an easy fit into your plant's design to optimize precious floor space. Furthermore, they are easy to install and maintain. Each rectifier consists of up to ten modules and naturally two or more stacks can be connected to allow for higher currents (0-30,000 A) and voltages (0-120 VDC). Thanks to the modular design, you only pay for the power you need. We’re flexible! Should you need more power later on, simply add more modules.
BENEFITS OF SWITCH MODE RECTIFIERS INCLUDE:
- Lower cost of operation (than traditional SCR rectifiers)
- The compact modular design
- Small, easy to install package
